:I think there should definitely be a separate article for that concept. EPOC is a pretty specific one and can't really be generalized without losing something. If I'm thinking about it right, oxygen deficit is what happens during and immediately after intense exercise. EPOC is specifically defined as after exercise. Though maybe technically experiencing extended EPOC is defined as an oxygen deficit too.
