'''''Washed Up!''''' was the first look long-time fans of [[Catch 22 (band)|Catch 22]] got at the band's restructured lineup following the departure of half the original members. Gone were Jamie Egan, Josh Ansley, and primary songwriter [[Tomas Kalnoky]], with Pat "Mingus" Kays, Pat Calpin, Mike Soprano, and Jeff Davidson stepping up to the bat in their stead. The EP included two new tracks, a raucous cover of [[Don McLean]]'s "[[American Pie (song)|American Pie]]", and an unusual track called "The Death of Your Blood is My Indulgence," a tribute to their label, [[Victory Records]], which is primarily known for its [[Hardcore punk|hardcore]] acts. "Death" had no actual lyrics, simply members of the band growling angrily , and for a while, the band jokingly asked fans to send in their own interpretations of the lyrics. Adding to the running time were several "hidden" tracks from live performances.
