For home non-profit users, free font and character map software is available for download. The oracle bone characters can be accessed in a number of ways, either via 24x24 and 96x96 pixel picture formats (as HTML as an image tag), [[Richtext]] encoded format, font name and text or Mojikyo number text, which are copied into the clipboard for pasting in your document later. The fonts can be viewed using Windows Character Map, but the character set must be set to Japanese to view properly. Compared to inscribed and proper Oracle Bone characters found in inscriptions, the Mojikyo font are of a fairly low quality jagged appearance without the grace found in the actual carved forms.
