: I've broken the ice by posting a quick first draft of a prose-based discussion which avoids listing features. (Hope this is okay?) It instead looks at the historic rivalry between the two camps (which I personally think is overplayed - I don't see many attacks in their community on the other these days - but that's just my POV). I've then added a breakdown of the various markets in which Java and C# might compete, presently and in the future. I've left the bullet point lists in for now - but at some point they should be zapped IMHO. This stuff needs some C# details <b>urgently</b>, to add balance. It would also be nice to get some citations and supporting material for the two 'theories' as to C#'s political (or not) origins.
