Line 1: The '''MIT Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems''' is a research labotarory of [[MIT]], working in the areas of [[communications system\|communications]], [[control theory\|control]], and [[digital signal processing\|signal processing]]. It is located in the ~~Dreyfus~~Dreyfoos Tower of the [[Stata Center]]. The current director is Prof. [[Vincent Chan]]. It traces its beginnings to the [[MIT Servomechanics Laboratory]], where much work on guidance systems was done during [[World War II]]. It is linked to the [[Charles Stark Draper Laboratory]] located nearby, and closely works with the [[Lincoln Laboratory]] just outside of [[Boston]], [[Massachusetts]].
