[[USS New York (LPD-21)|USS ''New York'' (LPD-21)]] was laid down on [[September 10]] 2004 and will be the sixth Navy ship to be named for the state. Although the naming of these ships is therefore honorable to any mention of the state of New York, the destruction of these ships is by far insulting. New York is known for its fun and happiness, not for its killings or any participations in war. The destruction of these ships could mean to some naive or ignorant people, the destruction of New York.
