Answer to your question: If you go to the web page thermart.net, you can download the User's Guide to FREED. That tells you how to do it. Basically, you need data from somewhere, and you can use Excel's Regression tool to fit it to a two, three, four, or however many termed polynomial.

Question: is FREED a commercial package? (i.e. do you have to pay money to get it?) If it is, why has it been allowed a huge free advertisement in Wikipedia? I won't bother quoting Wikipedia rules at you.
