A sandbox is a userspace page that allows you to carry you Wiki mark-up experiments and to also create new pages before sharing them with the world in the main space! The sandbox is a key tool used by Wikipedians of all experience levels.
A "sandbox" is a page on your user space where you can work privately to create an article without interruption or un-invited editing of the article by others. When you are happy with your new article, you can easily start a new article on the same page after! Here's how you can create a personal sandbox:
