* There's no requirement that new WikiProjects go through a formal proposal process; the mechanism is in place to assist editors uncertain of whether a WikiProject should be created, not to prevent them from doing so. So, from a procedural standpoint, a "retrospective" request isn't really necessary; if the project has been created and is active, then there's no real reason why it would need any sort of "approval".<p>More generally, though, I wonder if perhaps the number of articles specific to the OS itself might be too small to sustain a full WikiProject? Perhaps it would be better to combine all the individual OS-level projects as task forces of either WikiProject Computing or a new WikiProject Operating systems?
