:Not quite true: they link indirectly to the current sectionarticle. I've undone your change to the redirect. Looking at a few random examples, the redirect mightis better be to the head of the article as it has been. Missing link is still the popular term for "transitional fossil" and by Wikipedia rules that's where it should link. Few people know or care about the great chain of being.
