== Criticism Section? ==
I'd love to see a criticism section in this article. The service layers pattern generally just doesn't sound like a good idea to me. Of course, content in Wikipedia shouldn't be the editor's personal opinion, but I'm sure there are others out there who feel the same way as I do. (I just haven't found any yet, which is why I'd love to see a criticism section here...)
I'll see if I can do the necessary research and contribute such a section myself. If somebody else gets to it first, though, it would be awesome.
