La [[cripta]] imperiale (in tedesco: '''Kaisergruft''' ma di solito chiamata la '''Kapuzinergruft''', "Cripta dei Cappuccini") si trova sotto la chiesa (S. Maria degli Angeli) dei [[Frati minori cappuccini|cappuccini]] e il monastero fondato nel [[1617]] e dedicato nel [[1632]]. Si trova nella piazza [[Neue Markt (Vienna)|Neue Markt]], vicino al palazzo imperiale [[Hofburg]]
 
I corpi di 142 [[aristocrazia|aristocratici]], più alcune urne contenenti i cuori o le ceneri di altre quattro persone, sono depositate qui (al [[2005]]). Essi includono 12 [[imperatori]] e 18 [[imperatrici]]. La più recente sepoltura risale al [[1989]] e si tratta anche della persona più vecchia che venne sepolta, e si tratta dell'Imperatrice [[Zita di Borbone-Parma]] <small>147</small> all'età di 97 anni.
