I agree with the nominator that this is more about promoting Yang than about serving any encyclopedic purpose. Although the article on cellular automata is comprehensive, there is a distinction to be made between the theory of cellular automata and the design of machines for processing them, which has a long history (e.g. work of Duff, Fountain et al. on the CLIP machines at UCL in the 1970s/80s).
