"Undone - The Sweater Song" is a popular single by Weezer. It was released in 1994 and appeared on the self-titled debut album. Some interpret it as a song about being made fun of, publicly losing sanity, or a relationship falling apart; it is possible that all or none of these explanations may be correct, as Weezer has not publicly stated anything regarding the matter. The song also features a spoken introduction by then bassist Matt Sharp and longtime friend of the band Karl Koch, as well as an "intermission" set of dialogue between Karl and one the founding members of Weezer's official fan club and early supporter of the band, Mykel. This dialogue is frequently ad-libbed during concerts and other live recordings. The music video for Undone marks one of the early directorial efforts of Spike Jonze. It was shot on a steadicam in one take to the band playing to a sped up version of the song. The song's music is fairly similar to "I Bleed" from the Pixies 1989 album Doolittle (album).
