Line 40:
Women gained the right to vote in 1919 in the United States and kept the right ever since. Since then women's rights in the US have grown tremendously. They now own companies and corperations and have a large range of jobs to choose from. It is still commonly debated if women should be allowed in the army; they do have that right now, but are less common than men in the military (qualifications and standards are much lower for women than men in military, police, and fire departments in the US and other countries, and women do not register for draft in most countries)
Women are also given high rank in the government. [[Condalezza Rice]] is one example.
