Ecco le mie modifiche : Ho aggiunto la frase "rifacentesi a migliaia di studi condotti sino ad allora" non sono è inequivocabile, ma non necessita di nessun riferimento. In effetti migliaia di studi sono stati condotti sulla vitamina C e questi studi sono tutti citati negli innumerevoli scritti di pauling

"Pauling porto' a termine vari studi clinici che portarono a risultati incoraggianti". Incoraggianti è un eufemismo, visto che in media la vita media dei pazienti è aumentata di 4 volte. Dunque il problema non è se lo studio è stato condotto bene o male, ma che esistono degli studi con risultati notevoli. Del resto questo si evince dal fatto che la Mayo ha fatto i suoi studi proprio per confutare quelli di pauling.

"anche se Pauling critico' duramente la metodologia condotta dalla Mayo che prevedere un'alternanza di periodi di somministrazione con periodi di totale assenza di trattamento." Questo si evince dagli scritti di Pauling. Nel caso specifico il libro seguente

Qui di seguito alcuni studi sulla vitamina C, a conferma della mia prima modifica.

Voglio solo precisare il pensiero del Pauling, e proporre la sua versione delle cose, mi sembra dovuto vista la grande figura di questo scienziato.
