The example is not clear. It would be nice to know: 1) what's in the tables being searched and 2) the output of the search.
Why is there a link to Microsoft? Is there any evidence that Microsoft either implemented or claimed to implement QBE? QBE is a specific language like FORTRAN or C, not a generic term for any visual interface.
