Michael D. Plummer
Michael D. Plummer is a retired professor from Vanderbilt University. His field of work is in graph theory in which he has produced over a hundred papers and publications. Michael has also spoken at over a hundred and fifty guess lectures around the world.
Michael later went on to Yale University for his Post- Doctoral Instructorship from 1966 to 1968 in New Haven, CT. He then went on to accept an Assitant Professorship at City College of New York. Michael was one of the first faculty members of the new Department of Computer Science. Michael then furthered his carrer in 1970 as he joined the Department of Mathematics at Vanderbilt University. It was there that he spent the remainder of his career before retiring in 2008 as a Professor of Mathematics Emeritus. Michael continues to be active in graph theory since retirement producing over a hundered papers and publications
