History
Founded in 1992 in Toronto, Canada, Dundas Data Visualization, Inc. has been a leader in innovative computing technologies for many years. It was in 2002, with the creation of Dundas Chart for .NET that brought about an instant and overwhelming success for the company; the chart itself becoming one of the most popular charting technologies in the world. Dundas Chart was quickly followed by Dundas Gauge, Map, OLAP Chart, and Calendar controls, which were purchased by Microsoft in 2007 to become part of their Reporting Services, SharePoint, and .NET offerings. In 2009, the company introduced a turnkey dashboard software solution, Dundas Dashboard, which aims to let users quickly build full dashboard systems. Written entirely in Silverlight technology, Dundas Dashboard is a web-based system that can be integrated into most browsers as well as most portals such as SharePoint. By 2012, Dundas Dashboard solution branched outside of the Microsoft Silverlight platform and began offering HTML5 solutions. Dundas coupled this new development with a mobile offering that allows users to view dashboards on their mobile devices
