Various romanizations are accepted ('ti' or 'chi', 'ō' or 'oo', etc.), but kana is only partially supported. Long vowels are accepted with a consonant (''gō'' or ''goo'' above), but diphthongs require a second cell. For geminate consonants, a value 'p', 't', 's', 'sh', 'k' needs to be specified. Enter an apostrophe in its own cell for [[downstep]] (change in pitch). Use a hyphen for a space. Syllable breaks (".") are not supported.
