== History ==
The Professional Group on Engineering Management was established under the [[Institute of Radio Engineers]] in 1951. This Group became the Engineering Management Society (EMS) of the IEEE in 1955. In 2007 the EMS became the IEEE Technology Management Council (TMC).

On 24 June, 2014, IEEE Board of Directors approved the transition of TMC to the Technology Engineering and Management Society (TEMS) effective from 01 January, 2015.

== Governance ==
== IEEE TMC Member Societies ==
IEEE TEMS is governed by an Administrative Committee (AdCom) consisting of the officers and members in the table below, most of whom are elected by the IEEE TEMS membership.
IEEE Councils have IEEE Societies as members, while Societies have IEEE members (people) as members.
