Think version 4 should clarify "the acquisition?" I'm not very familiar with the product and came here to learn about it, and it took me a minute to realize BEA must've purchased WebLogic at some point.

I reverted an earlier revision to my comment: "At this point, the founders worked together to pursue what was eventually to be called the Application Server" because I meant exactly what I said. The founders worked together on a project which was at the time not called an app server, but eventually would be. [[User:Rbpasker|bob pasker]] 19:40, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
