Not true. OSVDB data is not free even it is from free sources and as the code is not free I don't see how it eliminates "redundant works". |
"created by and for the community" I don't see how this is a fact as even community members (e.g. security researcher) needs to pay money to get all data from the items (for example a reference url to mailing list discussion or advisory). |
