Dr. Jangraiz Khan was born at the well known village Warsak of district Peshawar. It is located at a short distance from Peshawar cantt on the bank of River Kabul and hosts the famous Warsak dam. His father Misal Khan, retired as Section officer from Civil Secretariate Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Due to his father’s interests in education, all of them are highly educated. One of his brother is Engineer, and one is PMS officer (Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa).

Dr.Jangraiz Khan did my SSC from Government Higher Secondary School No.1, Peshawar Cantt. He completed F.Sc and B.A (Economics and Statistics) from F.G College Peshawar Cannt. I passed M.A in Economics from Department of Economics, University of Peshawar in 1995.I got Ph.D Scholarship from Higher Education Commission of Pakistan under its Indigenous PhD 5000 Fellowship Program Batch–III in 2006-07. He also got award of IRSIP (International Research Initiative Support Programme) from Higher Education Commission in 2010 and Visited Department of Economics, University of Pisa, Italy during the period Dec 2010- June 2012. He completed my Ph.D in Economics with Specialization in Macroeconomics in April 2012 and defended successfully his Thesis on April12, 2012.
