Line 21:
"Going Under" was the second single from rock band Evanescence's first commercial album, Fallen. It was meant to be the first single, but the success from Bring Me to Life eclipsed the initial decision.
The song is about Amy Lee's relationship with an abusive boyfriend. (Fans speculate that 'Anything For You' an unreleased demo, is also about him) But it can be used to describe any type of abusive relationship. A very rare and hard to find demo version is also available over the internet and Pier-to-Pier file shairing programs. With only a few minor -yet still noticable- differences setting it apart from its Fallen counterpart. These differences can mainly be found in the way Lee's voice was mixed, as well as the instruments.
The music could be heard in the credits of the video game Enter The Matrix.
