Dopo le riprese in Islanda la produzione si spostò a Los Angeles per 54 giorni. Tra le ___location ci sono il Westin Bonaventure Hotel, il centro congressi di Los Angeles, uno studio di registrazione della Sony Pictures e una casa privata a Altadena. Le riprese si conclusero il 30 dicembre, e Nolan cominciò il montaggio in vista di una release nel 2014. Il budget finale del film fu di 165 milioni di dollari, 10 milioni in meno di quanto avevano messo a disposizione Paramount, Warner Bros. e Legendary Pictures.
