Here it is not claimed that the above-mentioned criteria are comprehensive and enable us to easily find and label "metaphor-inspired metaheuristic cruft". However, using just the mentioned two criteria you can find and filter many of the "cruft"s. Then use other methods to work on the few remaining ones.
