=== Purpose ===

This redirect category ([[WP:RCAT|rcat]]) template sorts redirects into one of two categories:

# {{Cat|Redirects to portal space}} – for [[WP:CNRPNR|cross-namespacePNR]]s redirectsand [[WP:CNR|CNR]]s, or

# {{Cat|Redirects to portals}} – for [[WP:Portal namespace|portal]] redirects to other portal pages

This rcat also populates the following:

* {{Cat|Unprintworthy redirects}} – redirects from the [[wp:Main namespace|main-article namespace]] (mainspace)

** At some point in the future, [[Jimmy Wales]] wants to make more {{diff|Wikipedia:Pushing to 1.0||1319195|printed versions}} of ''Wikipedia'' encyclopedia articles. Mainspace redirects that target pages in the portal namespace are not suitable for a printed version. In other words, they are [[wp:Printworthiness|unprintworthy]].
