The Grand Prix of Figure Skating Final is a figure skating event. It is the final event in the ISU Grand Prix of Figure Skating series and features the six skaters from each discipline who competed at at least two of the Grand Prix events (Skate America, Skate Canada International, Trophée Eric Bompard, Cup of China, Cup of Russia, and the NHK Trophy) and had the highest cumulative finishes of all the Grand Prix competitors. Instead of a draw, the order the skaters will skate in for the short program and original dance will be the reverse order of their rankings, so the top scorer in the Grand Prix series will skate last. The skating order for the long program and free dance will be the reverse order of their placement in the short program or original dance. The prize money for the 2006 Final is $25,000 for first place in all disciplines (pairs and dance teams split the money); $18,000 for second place; 12,000 for third place; $6,000 for fourth place; $4,000 for fifth place; and $3,000 for sixth place.
