Compiler bug: Delete without prejudice
Line 3:
This is a Wikipedia article about a specific (albeit irritating) class of computer bugs. No seriously catastrophic bugs have been placed in this category, and while compiler bugs are one of the subtlest and most diffuclt to debug nuances of programming, they are not significant enough to warrant a page on Wikipedia. The article is linked from no mainspace pages as of this writing, and its one link is from, ironically, a list of orphaned pages. I suggest an outright deletion, and a quasi-merge (ie, a small note about compiler bugs and other subtleties) into software bug. Abednigo 15:12, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
*Delete per nom. Software_bug#Common_types_of_computer_bugs offers meaningful classification. Pavel Vozenilek 20:09, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
*Delete as OR unless it is sourced. I have no prejudice to it being re-created, though, as I consider the topic notable. --Hyperbole 21:27, 7 September 2006 (UTC)
