'''Robert Coote''' (b. [[February 4]], [[1909]] in [[London]] - d. [[November 26]], [[1982]]) was aan London-born[[England|English]] film actor. After several years on the London stage, Coote set his attention on Hollywood where he appeared in supporting roles in many films. Coote's acting was inturrupted when he served as a squadron leader in the [[Canadian Air Force]] during [[World War II]]. In 1956, Coote was cast as Col. Pickering in the Broadway musical, "[[My Fair Lady]]." The thin, mustached man usually played aristocrats or British military types in many films. Coote's last film role was as one of [[Vincent Price]]'s victims in ''[[Theatre of Blood]]''.
