Is your above example based on an actual tournament or is it purely theoretical? Granted I should have probably programmed the third place spot to tolerate multiple legs (and it wouldn't be difficult), but the score-boxes param still wasn't meant to be used in the way you wanted since the tournament was not actually multi-legged. If you don't like parenthesis, RoundN's score processing can tolerate most other characters of your choosing:
