'''Bishop Ireton High School''' is a [[Catholic]] High School located in [[Alexandria]], [[Virginia]]. The school was founded in 1964 and at the time, admitted only [[male]] students. Bishop Ireton, or more commonly known as "BI" was established by the Oblates of St. Francis DeSales, an order of Catholic [[Priests]]. In [[1993]] the school began taking female students for the first time and is now a [[coeducational]] school. Bishop Ireton is known for its focus on the [[liberal arts]].
