Tecnica is a brand of the Tecnica Group, located in Giavera del Montello, covering the Alpine field with the production of innovative skiboots, and the outdoor sports area, manufacturing outdoor footwear. 

== HistoryStoria ==

Viene fondata a [[Montebelluna]] nel 1960 producendo inizialmente scarpe da lavoro.

In 1960 two brothers, Giancarlo and Ambrosiano Zanatta, established Calzaturificio Tecnica Spa, an industry that had evolved a long way from the small artisan workshop set up in the 1930s by their father Oreste who made working boots for men who toiled in the nearby Dolomites.

Nel 1970 avviene il lancio del [[Moon Boot]].

Tecnica has been a cutting-edge company in the manufacture of performance footwear for outdoor sports ever since 1970. On-going technological research and a passion for innovation lie at the heart of its philosophy.

A "Tecnica Group S.p.A", azienda capogruppo, fanno riferimento i marchi [[Nordica]] (abbigliamento e attrezzature legate allo [[sci]]), [[Blizzard Ski|Blizzard]] (sci), [[Dolomite (azienda)|Dolomite]] (abbigliamento invernale, sportivo e da tempo libero, abbigliamento tecnico, calzature e attrezzature sciistiche ), [[Lowa]] (abbigliamento invernale sportivo e per tempo libero), [[Rollerblade]] ([[pattino in linea|pattini in linea]]), [[Think pink]] (abbigliamento sportivo), [[Nitro (azienda)|Nitro]] ([[snowboard]]), [[T-Shoes]] (calzature).

Dal 2002 è il primo produttore mondiale di scarponi da sci; il gruppo è terzo produttore mondiale di prodotti sportivi invernali e il primo produttore europeo di calzature per sport e tempo libero all'aperto.

Il 42% della produzione è coperto da attrezzature per lo sci alpino, il 34% da calzature e abbigliamento per il tempo libero all'aperto, il 15% dall'abbigliamento e calzature invernali e il 10% da [[pattino|pattini]].

Il primo mercato per il gruppo industriale è la Germania dove il gruppo italiano esporta e vende il 20% dei propri prodotti, seguito dal 14% degli [[Stati Uniti d'America]] e il 13% dell'[[Italia]].
