:::: It's hard to know what's OR and what isn't as the article is so lacking in references. The [[Methods of computing square roots#Digit -by -digit calculation|digit-by-digit method]] given is perhaps a fairly well-known one (taught to me long before WP existed), so clearly isn't OR, but there's no indication of its name and no references have been given for the method. I would imagine that whoever added it to WP was recalling it from memory.
