:::: It's hard to know what's OR and what isn't as the article is so lacking in references. The [[Methods of computing square roots#Digit-by-digit calculation|digit-by-digit method]] given is perhaps a fairly well-known one (taught to me long before WP existed), so clearly isn't OR, but there's no indication of its name or origin, and no references have been given for the method. I would imagine that whoever added it to WP was recalling it from memory.
