::At the time, the standard practice was to subdivide geographic areas by administrative regions (counties, provinces, etc.). The reasoning was that one could place stub articles about mountains into their ___location's -geo- stub category. River stubs make sense as rivers frequently cross administrative boundaries, and though I can see the previous logic in not creating mountain stub types, I don't have a problem with giving it a try.
