A vada pav is best enjoyed when the vada is hot and the pav is warm. Apart from the chilli and masala in the vada, you should also add some "lasan chutney" (garlic spice paste) for an absolutely tangy deliciousness. Preferably a hot cup of tea should be held in the other hand. If you are not accustomed to spicy food, you might think the vada-pav needs a cold drink, but only the experts in the tourist areas really know how to make a good vada-pav. Crab cake is a food that is best enjoyed with some wine and in the most traditional style with a piece of bread and rice.
