Although I don't think it is a policy anywhere, it is still a small point that needs to be considered in general day to day interactions. For further reading see [[Wikipedia:Gender-neutral language in Wikipedia policies]], [[Singular they]], [[Wikipedia:Gender-neutral language]]. (I know you are currently blocked, but when and IF you are unblocked, this is something to consider otherwise also if not already considered.)
