For Chinese alligator. Could someone kindly see if the book supports the claims and ? If it does support the claims, what page number(s) is the information located on so that it can be added to the article for verifiability? It is on Google Books but unfortunately it doesn't allow for a preview and after doing some searching, the full text of the book doesn't appear to be online, or at least not behind a paywall. Many thanks, <span style="font-family: AR BERKLEY; text-shadow: 2px 5px 5px gray;">SkyGazer 512</span> <span style="background: linear-gradient(aqua, #d580ff);">Oh no, what did I do this time?</span> 16:35, 22 December 2018 (UTC)

:SkyGazer 512 The source does not support either of those statements. I can send you its pages on Chinese alligators, 293–298, if you would like them. Perhaps they would be useful elsewhere in the article. --Worldbruce (talk) 04:17, 6 January 2019 (UTC)
::Thanks a lot for looking into it Worldbruce. Darn it, I guess I'll have to look elsewhere to see if other sources support those statements. But yeah, if it has six pages which talk about the Chinese alligator I would appreciate it if you could send them to me, if possible. The book is from 1971, so I can't really use it for info about the alligator's distribution and threat of extinction, but there is a lot of very good information in it that likely isn't time-relative.
