:::::A quanto pare, credevano come lei quindici anni fa. Fu scritto [http://www.bioone.org/doi/full/10.1642/0004-8038%282002%29119%5B0001%3AWOSCAT%5D2.0.CO%3B2 un articolo sul giornale ''The Auk''] (ramo della società ornitologica americana) nel 2002 sul riguardo. Sembra che, più che altro, gli ornitologi di quasi due decenni fa erano semplicemente ignoranti:

Further, few ornithologists have formal paleontological training, and some may have relied on the criticism of a few to form the opinion that the evidence supporting the theropod hypothesis is flawed.
