In order to create automated processes and workflows based on this data they needed a way to connect their spreadsheets and automate the transfer of data between them. One year later, in 2009, Van der Vaart and Gomes da Silva (who at that time led the IT department for the Social Urbanism company), created an application to enable this data transfer in [[spreadsheets]]. Sheetgo, was widely validated in 2010 by several multinational companies specialized in technology, when Van der Vaart and Gomes da Silva were invited to present it in [[Mountain View, California|Mountain View]] ([[California]]). In 2015, the application was officially launched under the name “Import"Import Sheet”Sheet". A year later, in February 2016, Van der Vaart, Gomes da Silva, Pittman and Vidal began to dedicate themselves exclusively to the company, after being selected for investment by a Brazilian technology accelerator. That same year they were also selected for investment by a Spanish [[seed accelerator]], which led to the transfer of part of the team to Spain.
