The first on Linux claim might be incorrect, since I'm finding references to IBM DB2 shipping slightly earlier. Similarly, the "shared everything" claim falls down with DB2 for z/OS and Parallel Sysplex data sharing, which appeared years before Oracle's implementation. Could someone check these out more thoroughly?
