'''Huilliche language''' is an [[Araucanian languages|Araucanian language]] spoken by about 2,000 in [[Chile]] by the ethnic [[Huilliche]] people. It is spoken in an area south of the [[Mapuche]] and from the city of Valdivia south to [[Chiloé Island]] in nation's [[X Región]] (10th Region or province), especially mountain valleys.
 
Alternative names for this language are Veliche and Huiliche. There is a dialect called [[Tsesungún dialect|Tsesungún]]. [[Mapudungun]], the language of the [[Mapuche]], is closely related.
