I would imagine not, in which case that would be notable in the main argument, because the majority of its compettitors (CA-Ingres, Sybase, SQL Server etc) were. My doubts are really only raised because that on casual inspection ProC is remarkably like Ingres ESQL - so is Proc developed from ESQL or perhaps ESQL is some kind of industry 'standard' from somewhere?
