== BackgroundAntefatto ==

Il main feud per quanto riguarda il roster di Raw è quello per il [[WWE Championship]] tra il campione Randy Orton e lo sfidante [[Dave Batista|Batista]]. Da gennaio 2009 Orton è in feud con la famiglia McMahon e sempre nel mese di gennaio Orton vince la rumble e sfida a [[WrestleMania XXV]] Triple H per il WWE Championship il quale perde. A [[WWE Backlash 2009|Backlash]] Orton riconquista il titolo WWE in un Six-Man Tag Team Match. Nella puntata di [[WWE Raw|Raw]] del 27 aprile Batista sconfigge The Big Show per countout e va quindi a sfidare Orton a Judgment Day per il WWE Championship.
