:The beginning is a copy of http://www2.ed.gov/programs/fws/ ; the rest is presumably a copy of some other government publication, but I cannot find it--but it's undoubtedly PD-US-gov so it isn't a copyvio in any case. It obviously needs total rewriting. I am considering speedy deletion under criterion G11, for blatantly promotional articles. But I'm probably not going to do that, or start fixing the article, or even tag it, because it's part of the trial feedback program , :Category:Article Feedback Pilot, & ut will be interesting to see what other think of it. (there are a few others in that program pretty much like it, and a few particularly unreadable ones that seem direct copies of the federal register) DGG ( talk ) 19:40, 3 October 2010 (UTC)

:: I agree this is a disappointing article. Nothing about its origins, or its history. Or even comparing it to similar programs in other countries, such as sizar. FWIW, I remember back in the 1970s, when it seemed to be a new program, students had the option of accepting the funds as Work-Study grants, or as loans. (I'll admit that it was how I put myself thru college without incurring any debt back then. Something few college students can accomplish nowadays.) It would be interesting to see just how much money has gone to this program each year since its inception. -- llywrch (talk) 22:16, 16 February 2020 (UTC)
