The units '<code>short ton</code>', '<code>long ton</code>', and '<code>metric ton</code>' (''not'' the unit '<code>tonne</code>') are unrecognised as parameter entries in plural form: <code><nowiki>{{convert|2|short tons|}}</nowiki></code> returns as <code>{{convert|2|short tons|}}</code>; <code><nowiki>{{convert|2|long tons|}}</nowiki></code> returns as <code>{{convert|2|long tons|}}</code>; and <code><nowiki>{{convert|2|metric tons|}}</nowiki></code> returns as <code>{{convert|2|metric tons|}}</code>.
