Hello again,

I would like to be able to write all the words in English. Except the place names don't matter as they are the same except İstanbul is Istanbul without a dot in English, but I wonder if they could/should be Wikilinks?

If anyone is kind enough to take this on let me know before you start as it might also be nice to Turkify the symbols if Berkaysnklf (talk · contribs) agrees.

Hi Bogazicili I'm pretty sure that map is a screenshot of a map found online, and so it has some copyright issues. However, it's easy enough to put up something based on File:BlankMap-World.svg. Would that work? CMD (talk) 13:05, 22 April 2021 (UTC)

Hi Chipmunkdavis, that would be great thanks! For copyright issues, should we notify the author of the image? Bogazicili (talk) 09:54, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
@Bogazicili: please see above. Probably worth inquiring with the original author regarding 2020 copyright. CMD (talk) 10:42, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
Chipmunkdavis, this looks great! Thanks! Do you think we should also put the scale within the image rather than in the legend? I have no preference either way, but just curious which would be more readable. What's the standard practice in Wikipedia? Bogazicili (talk) 11:09, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
My understanding is that it is usually preferred to keep legends out of images, as this makes them easier to use across different language wikis. CMD (talk) 12:16, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
Chipmunkdavis, that makes perfect sense. I updated the images on English Wikipedia with your version. Thanks for the help! Bogazicili (talk) 12:47, 23 April 2021 (UTC)
