Reynolds (Reyn) Guyer was a department supervisor at his father's company when, in 1965, two gentlemen that he had hired, Charles F. Foley and Neil W. Rabens, invented the game of Twister (originally called 'Pretzel') in 1966. He was later involved in the development of Nerf. He attended St. Paul Academy and Summit School.
